THE GALLERY, THE TIMES SQUARE OF ART

Axel Doyel Gallery: The Times Square of Art Institutional Manifesto and Call for International Patronage

Axel Doyel Gallery was born as a cultural and architectural landmark conceived to transform the global art ecosystem. Designed under the strategic concept of an “airport of creation”—a takeoff space where talents overcome adverse currents to reach new heights—, this initiative opens its doors in the digital realm with the vision of erecting a monumental physical venue accessible to creators of all disciplines.

The project seeks to connect emerging artists who do not yet have a space in the commercial circuit with international critics, curators, and gallerists. Through an ongoing dialogue between traditional art, contemporary trends, and digital art (NFTs), the gallery will offer a stage of maximum visibility both in its interior rooms and in its outdoor spaces.

"Architectural concept and visual design of the physical art gallery El Times by Axel Doyel Studio."

Architectural Inspiration and International Commission

The spatial conception of the project stems from a fascination with the history of architecture: from the geometric purity of the three Greek orders (Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian) and the richness of the Renaissance, Baroque, and Gothic, to the modernity of Art Deco, the legacy of the Bauhaus, and the fundamental principles formulated by Le Corbusier.

This proposal pays tribute to the structural and conceptual audacity of masters of universal architecture such as Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster, Jean Nouvel, Santiago Calatrava, Le Corbusier, and Renzo Piano, and draws inspiration for its exhibition model from the spatial impact of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum on Fifth Avenue in New York and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.

We formally invite architecture studios, design firms, patrons, and philanthropists to join in the development of this architectural commission. The project requires the preparation of conceptual proposals and high-end hyper-realistic three-dimensional renderings to design an iconic building. The building’s facade will feature state-of-the-art display systems projecting continuous artwork 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, turning the structure into “The Times Square of Art”.

Social Foundation and Humanist Legacy

Beyond its aesthetic dimension, Axel Doyel Gallery will host a philanthropic foundation with a quantitative and qualitative commitment to high social impact. Convinced that architecture and art must act as agents of human transformation, the project's proceeds will go directly toward building decent housing (“a beautiful home”) for single mothers in situations of extreme vulnerability and their children.

Likewise, the institution will promote a development program for youth and children with an artistic or scientific vocation, providing them with technological resources and cutting-edge tools to ensure their comprehensive education.

Sustainability Model and Cultural Impact

The physical complex will operate under a self-sustaining financial model supported by a high-end gastronomic offering, ongoing cultural programming, and live musical performances in its outdoor plazas. This economic ecosystem will guarantee the continuity of its scholarship programs, the democratic promotion of artists, and the support of its social causes.

We invite the international community of architecture, art, and corporate patronage to join in creating this monument to human creativity.
