“Let's make NFTs last forever” is a collection. As I state on the website's homepage, I am one of those artists who believe in change and see within it opportunities and new paths for artistic expression.

It is to be expected that new technological advancements, directly linked to computing, bring forth new ways of creating art. What began millions of years ago with cave paintings on cave walls underwent, centuries later, various changes alongside human evolution.

The arts, just like the sciences, illuminated and provided new forms of expression that allowed us to decipher what materials concealed and what cave dwellers could not discover. What was once rock later became paint on paper, canvas, and other materials.

A slender tree branch was once used to write summarized ideas in symbols upon the earth, which remained visible only as long as the wind and rain allowed. Centuries later, that branch became pen and ink on paper, marking the beginning of recording the imprint of human thought, which constantly seeks to improve the environment that surrounds it.

It is impossible to deny new advancements, regardless of the risks they may entail. Banks, in their beginnings, were not secure institutions either. In the West, numerous robberies took place, with no help nearby to protect the interests of so many families who kept their dreams in a small strongbox that offered them security.

However, the irrecoverable losses that many suffered during those beginnings did not mean the end of banks.

New ways to guarantee security were sought, improvements were introduced, and banks have continued to exist to this day.

NFTs represent another stage in the evolution and learning of the human species. They are also part of that creative condition that sets humanity apart from any other species on Earth.

“Let's make NFTs last forever” is a metaphor and an ode to the courage of always daring to go beyond limits.
